DELAWARE CITY LADIES MAKE STRONG SHOWING IN DVFALA GOLF TOURNAMENT - Dover

2007's Annual Conference for the Ladies Auxiliary started again with the Ladies Golf Outing.  This year we expanded our participation by having a second team.  Our Veteran Team, having changed their name to "The Fun 1's" from last year, sported embroidered shirts and pink cowboy hats, which made their way to Delaware from a beach in Mexico.  The Fun 1's team membership was Kitt Neel, Ivy Costango, Cheryl Dennis & Tammy Finnegan, caddied this year by Rob Costango and newcomer – Charles Neel. Tammy won a fire pit for having the longest drive to the green for the tournament.  Our novice team, wearing for the most part, plaid capri’s (a grandma affect – I believe), included Megan Hadaway, Carla Miklus, Kirsten Costango and Michelle Smith and caddied by Marilou Stewart.  There is talk of a third team being represented by members from Delaware City for 2008.
