MVC w/ Entrapment next to the Fire Station - 5th Street

At 07:09 hours Friday morning, December 14th, Station 15, Medic 6B and Trooper 4 were alerted for an MVC with Entrapment at 909 5th Street, Delaware City. A-15 (Career Staff Getty) arrived on scene at 07:10 hours confirming entrapment and requesting station 15 fire police. Rescue 15 with a crew of 5 under the command of Assistant Chief Netsch arrived on scene and started extrication. Trooper 4 advised they were down due to weather as was Lifenet. A-15 advised the Communications Center at 07:14 hours that they had a trauma alert for a 24yof. Command requested DPL Electric, priority 3 for a pole that was sheared off. Command advised the Communications Center that extrication was complete at 07:22 hours. A-15 and Medic 6B transported the lone patient to CER. Scene was turned over to Delaware City PD and DCFC Fire Police. Responding Units: A-15, Rescue 15, 15-9, 15-9C Medic 6B, ALS-21, DCPD.
