EMT Bill Austin honored with Honor Guard Member of the Year by the Delaware Air National Guard - Delaware City

Congratulations to William H. "Bill" Austin for being honored as the Honor Guard Member of the Year by the Delaware Air National Guard at the units Annual Banquet on February 9, 2008. Bill joined our Fire Company on May 6, 1998 after serving with the Mill Creek Fire Company for several years. Bill has served in the past as our Assistant EMS Supervisor. Bill currently is employed by the A.I. DuPont Hospital and lives in Delaware City with his wife Janet. In his spare time he still finds the time to respond as one of our active EMT's. We are very fortunate again to have a member like Bill who is a caring person. Bill always asked how you and your family are doing and always saying if you need anything to let him know. It is no doubt that these and many more qualities are the reason Bill was selected for this prestigious honor. We congratulate Bill on his Honor and wish him well as he is up for National Honors that will be announced in March.
