Fire Prevention visit to St. Georges UMC - St. Georges United Methodist Church

On Sunday, April 6, 2008 members of the Delaware City Fire Company Fire Prevention Team visited the St. Georges United Methodist Church Sunday School class to talk about Fire Prevention and Fire Safety. Ashes the Fire Dog along with Michelle Smith talked about Fire Safety Tips. Some of the these tips the team presented were: 911, Stop, Drop and Roll, Knowing Two Ways Out, Special Meeting Place, Smoke Detectors and what a firefighter looks like with his firefighting gear and self contained breathing apparatus. The children and adults in attendance enjoyed the presentation by the Fire Prevention Team. Members in attendance: Bill Hart, Michelle Smith, Kyle Lester, Alex Lester, Jonathan Fields, Rob Trivett and Allen MacKenzie. A special Thank You to St. Georges United Methodist Church for inviting us to visit and to Lou Ann Lester for taking the pictures.
