We were notified yesterday of the passing of Fire Chief Cris Hansen of the Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association, Swarthmore, PA. Over 15 years ago we were looking for a out of state fire company to assist us during the day of the conference for fire/rescue/ems coverage and we contacted Mike Rush who in turn gave us the information for the Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association. We made contact with Chief Cris Hansen and a working relationship was quickly established. We have had Swarthmore assist us for over the last 15 years during the day of the conference and when we moved into our new facility at 815 5th Street in 2003. The Officers and Members of the Delaware City Fire Company extend our heartfelt condolences to the Officers and Members of the Swarthmore Fire and Protective Association and the Hansen Family.
