It is with a heavy heart the Delaware City Fire Company announces the passing of our President Emeritus Harry Bright. President Emeritus Bright was a 70-year member of our Fire Company and was to be recognized at our Annual Awards Banquet in January for his years of service. President Emeritus Bright served as President for 14 consecutive years (1949 - 1962), the longest tenure as President in our 121-year history. A Full Firefighters Funeral is in the planning stages and information will be sent out and posted as soon as it becomes available. Please keep the Bright Family in your thoughts and prayers.
