Saturday night, members and their families gathered for a special event. The leadership of both the fire company and ladies auxiliary set aside this night to thank our children for their participation in our fire prevention float at the conference held in September. Ladies President Nancy Migliavacca and Assistant Chief Miklus presented each child (and some adults) that participated a certificate as well as a gift certificate to McDonalds. The children then enjoyed ice cream sundaes and mini-cupcakes. We, at the Delaware City Fire Company, are certainly blessed to have such a great group of children that enjoy being a part of what we do!
