MVC Vehicle Off the Roadway

Station 15 was dispatched for a MVC Vehicle off the roadway in the area of the PBF Refinery Softball Field / Picnic Area.
Vehicle had hit a tree and traveled over 1000 feet off the roadway until striking a set of trees.
A-15, Rescue 15, Duty Chief 15-8B, 15-5 and C-15 made the response. DSP advised Fireboard that the vehicle was on fire and Fireboard dispatched Station 18 for and engine.
Assistant Chief Neel assumed Delaware City Command and requested a field piece from Station 29. 18-3, 29-1 and Argo 29 made the response.
Command, DSP and crews from A-15, Rescue 15 and 15-5 made their way back to the vehicle which was fully involved. The driver of the vehicle had self extricated herself and was found laying a few feet away from the vehicle. Crews immediately started triaging the patient and Command requested ALS for altered mental status and head / facial trauma. Command also requested Tropper 4 but was down due to the weather [wind conditions].
Patient was packaged to A-15 and A-15 met Medic 6D enroute to CER. 29-1 extinquished the vehicle fire and Command placed the scene under control turning the scene over to DSP.
