L1*Auto Fire - Under the Reedy Point Bridge

21:31hrs, DCFC was dispatched to a fire nature unknown in the area of the C/D Canal and the Saint George Bridge. 3 minutes after that dispatch the New Castle County FireBoard re-dispatched the station for an L1 Auto Fire - a 71D2 in the area of the Reedy Point Bridge and the C/D Canal. Engine 15-4 and Asst. Chief 15-8-B(Johnson) arrived to find a 2 door automobile fully involved. The vehicle was extinguished with DCPD, DSP and State Fire Marshall’s office investigating. DCFC Units on scene: Engine 15-4, Field Piece 15-0, BLS A-15 and Station Fire Police.
