Residential Fire Downtown Delaware City

At 00:06 hours, Station 15 and mutual aid companies were alerted for a Residential Fire in the unit block of Washington Stree, Delaware City.

15-8B [Assistant Chief Johnson] arrived on scene with a small fire on the porch B side of the residence.  Discarded cigarette was the cause.

Crews from Squad 15 and 296 removed parts of the porch and wet downed the area.

Command turned the scene over to the homeowner.
