On Sunday, January 29th, station 15 was alerted for a Mobile Home Fire Alarm in Kingsmill Trailer Park. A in house crew of 6 responded at 16:42 hours on 15-7 under the command of Assistant Chief Paul Johnson (15-8C).
15-7 arrived at 16:53 hours and made entry to the mobile home with smoke conditions inside. Assistant Chief Johnson advised the Fireboard of the smoke conditions but to hold the upgrade.
Once inside the residence, the crew of 15-7 located a wood stove which had the flue closed witch caused the smoke conditions. Once the resident returned home the scene was turned over to the home owner and 15-7 cleared.
During this alarm, station 15 was alerted for another response at 16:46 hours for and Engine assist Christiana on a Residential Fire for a fire reported in the oven in the Caravel Hunt community. Engine 155 responded at 16:47 hours with a crew of 4. 12-8 arrived on scene at 16:51 hours and placed the scene under control at 16:53 hours clearing 15-5.
A total of 21 members responded for both alarms.
