The 2nd Annabel Diehl Holiday Toy Drive - Station 15

The Ladies Auxiliary and Fire Company collected $300.00 and over two dozen unwrapped gifts to donate to the 2nd Annabel Diehl Holiday Toy Drive. Collections began on November 19th and will run through December 20th Toys are collected for kids ages newborn to 17 years old to be distributed on December 24th, 2012. The drop off points for new, unwrapped toys are: Delaware City Town Hall, 407 Clinton Street Delaware City Marina, 302 Canal Street Crabby Dick's Restaurant, 30 Clinton Street Annabel was a merchant who passed away in her store last Christmas season. She was 27 years old she and owned Peas in a Pod which was a kids store. She loved kids so last year in her memory Town Merchants decided to make sure all the kids in Delaware City had toys which most of the toys went to needy kids. They did deliver to every kid the Merchants knew just to not let any kid be left behind on Christmas. Annabel's mother, Nancy helped deliver the toys along with Santa Claus last year! Another great thing that YOUR Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary does for OUR Community!
