Annual NCC Fire Service Installation Banquet - Station 19 - Hockessin Fire Company

On Thursday, December 13th over 15 members attended the Annual Installation Banquet for the New Castle County Fire Service. This year’s Banquet was held at the Hockessin Fire Company as Dan Carrier of Hockessin was installed as President. After a delicious dinner prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hockessin Fire Company we had several members of the Fire Company installed as Officers in the various Associations. For the Ambulance Association, Deb Watson was installed as Treasurer; Nancy Brannock was installed as Secretary. Bill Kiger remains as a Director for another year. In the Chiefs Association, David Carpenter was elected for a second term as a Director and Career Staff Ken Getty remains as a Director for another year. For the County Association, Deb Watson was once again installed as Secretary and Wally Poppe was installed as 2nd Vice President. Jim Watson is currently serving as a Trustee. Once the Installation was completed, Past Chief Herb Netsch was recognized by the Harold "Sonny" Wilkins Family as this year’s recipient of the Sonny Wilkins Longevity Award. On behalf of the Officers and Members of the Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary, we would like to congratulate those members installed and to Past Chief Netsch on being recognized for this prestigious award.
