Assist Animal Control & DCPD with Pitbull Removal

Station 15 was alerted to assist Animal Control and DCPD with removal of a Pitbull from a 2nd floor balcony.  Assistant Chief Wally Poppe [15-8C] arrived on scene and was advised of the situation from DCPD Officer Dave Kerr.  15-7 responded under command of Chief Engineer David Carpenter with a crew of 4.

15-7 arrived and utilized a 12' roof ladder and the crew made access to the 2nd floor balcony and removed the 'friendly' Pitbull.  Animal Control took custody of the dog and the scene was placed under contorl with Station 15 units clearing.
