Burn Building Training - New Castle Burn Center

On Wednesday, October 10, 2007, thirteen members attended the burn building fire school at the NCC Burn Center.  Crews under the guidance of Deputy Chief Finnegan and DSFS Instructor Gordan Davis worked on room and contents, multiple room and contents and basement evolutions.  Crews consisting of Firefighters Pete Hallett Jr., Ron Hallett, Josh Sinex, Craig Costango, Wade Bendler, Allan MacKenzie, Proationary Member Doug Barbee and Cadet Members Mike Cole, Joe Walsh, Kyle Mench did an outstanding job on each of the evolutions.  Crews worked hard and fast all night working and communicating during each evolution.  Crews worked on fast knock downs with keeping a good thermal balance during each one.  Additional members Jim Watson, Mike Miklus and Mick Pollinger did hands on training with pumping both units.  We would like to thank all the members who took time out of there busy schedules to attend the training.
