2nd Alarm Assignment - Scotch Hills Apartments - Highland Boulevard

At 15:46 hours Stations 3,6,12, engine and ladder 28, 32 engine 23 were dispatched for Multi-Residential Fire in Scotch Hills Apartments. Chief 12-8 (Tillinghast) arrived on scene at 15:52 hours with fire showing assuming Scotch Hills Command. At 15:54 hours, Command requested a Working Alarm. Working alarm assignment was Ladder 17, Engine 222 and Rescue 18 for the RIT assignment. At 16:00 hours, station 15 was dispatched to Ladder cover Station 3 on Salem Church Road. 15-7 responded at 16:04 hours. At 16:13 hours Command requested a 2nd Alarm. 15-7 responded as part of the assignment. 15-7 arrived at 16:19 hours and reported to Side A. Crew from 15-7 was requested to the roof area on side A to remove aluminum siding and check for hot spots. Once that job was complete, crew entered the fire building and assisted with salvage and overhaul. At 16:56 hours B-15 was dispatched for an EMS Cover-up at Station 6 and handled several medical runs. 15-7 cleared the scene at 17:28 hours. Responding Units: 15-7, B-15. A total of 13 members responded.
