Engine Assist on Multi-Residential Building Fire - (69D4) - Apple Chase Apts

Station 15 was dispatched at 18:29 hours to assist Station 3,6,12 on a Multi Residential Building Fire on Thornhill Road in Apple Chase Apartments. Rescue 15 responded at 18:34 hours. Engine 3-4 arrived at 18:37 hours with smoke conditions and upgraded the response. Station 7,8,9,10 was dispatched for the RIT and Engine 15-5 was on a cover-up assignment for the Newark Fire Department responded at 18:39 hours. Command advised a dryer fire with extension and 1 line in service. Chief 12-8 arrived at 18:43 hours committing the 1st engine and ladder and all other units Level 1 Staging. A-15, A-7 and Medic 9A were added to the upgraded dispatch. Rescue 15 arrived at 18:45 hours. Command reduced the assignment to units on scene at 18:48 hours. Command placed the scene under control at 18:53 hours with Rescue 15 clearing at 19:15 hours.
