This past weekend was the Annual Delaware City Days with the parade on Saturday, July 21st and the Fireworks Display on Sunday, July 22nd and crew from both the Delaware City and Port Penn Fire Companies provided Fire and EMS Coverages both day in record setting heat.
Both Companies along with Elsmere and Hockessin Fire Companies participated in the parade on Saturday and then both companies staged at Station 15 during the days activities in the Downtown Business District until 5pm. Station 15 deployed Gator 15 and QRS 15 in the downtown business district during the days activies.
On Sunday, once again both companies staged for the Fireworks Display from 1800 hours until the Fireworks were completed at around 2200 hours.
Crews endured the heat on both days by having a cookout for the everyone that was assisting with the staffing for both events. More photos will be added.
