Porch Fire on Adams Street

On July 31, 2022 at 6:46 pm, Delaware City Fire Company and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 100 block of Adams Street for a residential structure fire. Squad 15 established a water supply and arrived to find a porch on fire, quickly extinguishing the same.  They were supported by Port Penn Volunteer Fire Company and Quint 15 before the incident was reduced to units on scene by the Incident Commander, Assistant Chief Neel.  Companies remained on scene for less than an hour and Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
