Jasper Lakey awarded DVFA Fireman of the Year - Dover

During the 16th Annual DVFA and DVFALA Conference Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, September 16th, Life Member and Past President Jasper Lakey was awarded the DVFA Fireman of the Year. Jasper becomes the second member of our Fire Company to be awarded this prestigious award joining his longtime friend Charles Neel. Jasper was also recognized by the General Assembly with 2 proclamations that were presented by Representative Biff Lee. Jasper Lakey has been a 62 year Active Life Member who continually serves our Fire Company in many capacities and represents us up and down the State of Delaware on a weekly basis. We congratulate Jasper on being recognized by the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association on this well deserved and long overdue recognition!
