Rescue on the Canal Banks - C/D Canal

15:33hrs: DCFC was dispatched to an Injured Person on the C and D Canal in the area of McCoy Road. BLS A-15, Field Piece 15-0, Utility 15 with 15-LT-1(Sinex) and Chief 15-8(Rosseel) in Command 15 responded. While en route to the incident New Castle County Fireboard added Delaware State Police Aviation unit Trooper 4 to the response. Station 15 units arrived on the upper level of the Canal Banks at 15:47hrs and was informed that the person was un reachable by the roadway. Chief 15-8 established the command and was informed Port Penn Fire Company offered Argo 29. They were requested to make the response at 15:49hrs. Units cleared the canal banks at 16:30hrs after the person was removed by Trooper 4.
