Odessa Fire Company Award Ceremony - Legislative Hall - Dover

Members of the Delaware City Fire Company traveled to Dover today to attend the Award Ceremony for the Odessa Fire Company on receiving the JEMS / Physio Control 2010 Top Ten 2010 Innovator of the year for EMS in recognition of their efforts in getting a Statewide Grant of $440,000 for Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Training for all Basic Life Support Units. The Odessa Fire Company was initially recognized at the JEMS Conference in Baltimore Maryland back on March 2, 2011 at the JEMS Conference. Past Presidents Jasper Lakey, Mike McMichael and Engine Captain Bill Kiger traveled to Dover to show our support for the Odessa Fire Company on their much deserved recognition. Delaware City Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary congratulate the Odessa Fire Company!
