31st Annual Seaford Fire Department Softball Tournament - Seaford, DE

The Fire Company Softball Team once again participated in the 31st Annual Seaford Fire Department Softball Tournament. After a one year hiatus, the Seaford Fire Company reorganized the tournament and instead of the donation going to the Chester Crozer Burn Foundation, the organizers will be donating the proceeds to the Delaware Burn Camp at Camp Barnes in Delaware. The tournament started off with a game versus the Blades Volunteer Fire Department witch the Citymen came out on the short end. The second game was against the Hockessin Fire Company which the fire company won. Then the 3rd game of the day was against the Dagsboro Fire Company which ended up with the Citymen moving on after another win. Unfortunately the tournament came to an end early on Sunday when the Citymen lost to the Talleyville Fire Company [the eventual bracket winners]. The members and their families had a good time and when the tournament was over with, the Tournament Organizers recognized the fire company with the Overall Outstanding Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations to the Softball team and the Seaford Fire Department for another great tournament!
