For the 2nd year in a row, on Saturday February 2, 2008 Delaware City Fire Company was asked to participate in a Fire Safety Progam for Kids for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) at Hodgson Vo-Tech High School from 9:00am until 12:00pm. We gave out fire helmets, fire prevention packets and showed them various tools that we use. We let the kids and parents try on our turnout gear as well as the SCBA. There were about 250 kids in attendance.
