Crabby Dick's and Rush Uniforms Presentations - Station 15 Memorial Hall

April 02, 2008

At the regular monthly meeting on April 2, 2008 Crabby Dick's presented the fire company a check of $532.00 from the proceeds from the Fund Raiser that was held on March 18th. Manager Alicia Lewis and Co-Owner John Buchheit were then given a resolution from the Fire Company for their generosity in providing the fund raiser. Mike Rush from Rush Uniforms was in attendance and presented the Fire Company a flag that has our new patch on it. Recently the Fire Company has purchased both Class A and Class B Uniforms from Rush Uniforms. In the past Mike and his staff have always been able to assist us whenever we needed uniforms or uniform parts, especially at the last minute around Conference time!!! Earlier this year we asked Mike to be our Master of Ceremonies at our Annual Awards Banquet but due to a previous commitment he was unable to attend. At that time we were going to announce that at one of our company meetings we voted on and passed that we made Mike an Honorary Member. So at last nights meeting with Mike in attendance we announced that we had bestowed Mike Rush as an Honorary Member. We would like to thank both Crabby Dick’s and Rush Uniforms for their outstanding support to the Delaware City Fire Company.
