Engine & Ladder Assist - Odessa - Residential Lighting Strike - 63B1 - Mailly Drive - Odessa Chase

Station 15 was alerted at 19:31 hours for an Engine and Ladder assist Stations 4/24 for a Residential Fire Lighting Strike on Mailly Drive in Odessa Chase. 15-7 responded at 19:32 hours and 15-5 responded at 19:33 hours. Engine 24-3 arrived on scene at 19:36 hours with Lieutenant 24 (Lynch) assuming Odessa Command. Command advised accountability is set-up in the rear of 24-3 and having all united placed in Level 1 Staging. Engine 4-5 arrived at 19:44 hours with 4-8B (Schulze) taking Command. 15-5 arrived at 19:48 hours with 15-7 arriving at 19:50 hours at the Staging area. Lighting had struck the residence on the roof area at the Satellite Dish (C/D Corner) and exited in the area of the outside electrical meter (A/B Corner). Crews from Odessa investigate, secured the power and Command requested DP&L for electric. Scene was placed under control at 19:54 hours with Station 15 units clearing at the same time.
