Saturday was a beautiful day for Delaware City Fire Company's Family Picnic. Approximately 80 members and their families showed up to enjoy a time of relaxing and play. Members enjoyed socializing with each other, while the children played on a water slide. Members and their children participated in a variety of games and the third annual family softball game was played (we had the Deputy and 1st Assistant Chief as captains - due to the absence of the President and Chief). The day ended with a dip in the pool at the home of Ladies Auxiliary Member Christine Reeder and her husband Brian. Thank you to The Delaware City Refinery for the use of the picnic grounds this year!
