At the August Fire Company Meeting, Cadet Member Kayla Bright received her 2017 Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemans Association Chief Gary "Happy Jack" Easton Youth Leadership Award.

Presenting the award was Past President CVVFA President Jim Watson, President Paul Johnson and Chief Wally Poppe.

Kayla is a 3rd Generation Firefighter from the Bright Family following in the footsteps of her Grandfather President Emeritus Harry Bright and her father David as well as younger brother Josh and a host of Uncles.
