Tonight, Captain Boots led the duty crew through some hands-on hoseline training. Our firefighters practiced advancing a charged hose line up a tight, interior stairwell while flowing water. This is one of the most challenging evolutions on the fireground, requiring lots of practice and coordination. The hallmark of good engine company is their ability to flow and move. And our firefighters worked hard tonight to prepare for the next fire.
