Location - 3799 Block Kirkwood St. Georges Road - York Farms

Officer in Charge - Chief James D. Rosseel

Station 15, Engine 6, Engine 29, Rescue 12 were dispatched for a Residential Fire with smoke reported from the windows.  Chief Rosseel arrived at 11:03 hours reporting smoke showing, 2nd floor, B side.  Station 15 was re-dispatched with the conditions reported and Station 4/24 was dispatched for the RIT Assignment, B-3 and Medic 5D for the BLS / ALS standby.  At 11:06 hours 29-4 followed by 15-7 arrived with 29-4 laying supply line from the residence into the Mariners Watch development at 100 Portside Court.

Rescue 15 and 12-6 arrived at 11:07 hours.  Command reported a large canine in the residence requesting SPCA and setting up level 2 accountability at the Chiefs vehicle.  Chief Speakman (29-8) was Interior with 15-7 placing 2 hand lines in service with ladders set up to the 2nd floor on the A,B and C sides of the residence.  At 11:15 hours 12-6 Officer reported primary search complete with negative results and at 11:17 hours Interior reported bulk of the fire was knocked down.

Command placed the scene under control at 11:26 hours holding all units.  Interior reported that the secondary search was negative at 11:27 hours.  The investigating FM Unit was FM-21, Tripp Wagner.  FM-21 requested for the Red Cross to respond for the temporary placement of the residents.  The last of the units cleared the scene at 12:26 hours.

Responding Units: 15-8, 15 Captain 1, 15-7, Rescue 15, 15-4, 12-6, 6-6, 29-4, Rescue 29, 24-3, B-3, Medic 5D, ALS-26, 15-9, 15-9A, 15-9B, 15-9E, DSP, SPCA and NCC Building Inspections.

A total of 19 members responded to the alarm.
