Engine 15-4 Goes to Little People Day Care - Bear Delaware
June 24, 2013
On Monday June 24th the Delaware City Fire Company, was asked to give a Fire Prevention class to the Summer camp children of The Little People Day Care. The children learned about developing a "Special Meeting Place", "When you should call 911" "Where good air is versus bad air" and the Most important one, "Stop Drop and Roll". After the class was given the children were shown what a firefighter wears to protect himself inside a fire and were told to not be scared, we are there to help them. The children also climbed into Engine 15-4 to take a look around.
The Delaware City Fire Company Thanks The Little People Day Care for the opportunity to teach there Summer Camp children, and hope to be back next year to do it again.
