During the final RiverFest committee meeting on Tuesday, October 1st, the committee stated that they had no food vendors for the RiverFest on Saturday, October 5th.  The committe reached out to the Ladies Auxiliary to see if they were interested in being the solo food vendor for the event.  The ladies were holding their monthly meeting that same evening so it was discussed and they decided that they would indeed do the event.  The ladies auxiliary then reached out to cadets to see if they would be intersted in helping and in turn would received 50% of the profits for the day.  The cadets agreed.  Jointly, they worked side by side and were busy all day!  City Manager, Dick Cathcart, thanked the cadets and the ladies for helping at the last minute and making food available for purchase.  The cadets and the ladies would like to thank Dale Slotter for his input.  It was a busy, but successful day for the ladies and the cadets.
