Ladder Assist Odessa on Residential Fire

At 20:57 hours, Station 15 was alerted for a Ladder assist Stations 4&24 for a Residential Fire in the development of Crossland.  15-7 responded with a crew of 4 under command of Assistant Chief Neel.

15-7 arrived at 21:11 hours and was advised to respond to the alpha side of the residence and set up the ladder to the roof.  Initial reports were that the house was struck by lightening.

Command advised smoke condition in the attic but held the upgrade.  Crews removed insulation and soffett to check for any fire extention.  Command placed the scene under control at 21:25 hours holding Station 4&24 units, 1-6 and 15-7.

15-7 returned at at 21:46 hours.

Also during this alarm, Station 15 responded for a Servce Call - Non Medical for subjects locked inside the gate at the Red Lion Self Storage Facility.  Engine 15-5 responded under the command of Assistant Chief Brennan.  Engine 15-5 arrived at at 21:26 hours and removed the subjects.
