Members of the Delaware City Fire Company were in attendance today for the House Bill #310 Signing for the Creation of Fort DuPont Redevelopment and Preservation Corporation that was signed by Governor Jack Markell on the grounds of the Governor Bacon Health Center.

State Representative Valerie Longhurst and State Senator Nicole Poore spearheaded this Bill and the members of the Fire Company were in attendance to support them and the creation of the redevelopement and preservation plan.

Those in attendance were President Ed Kalinowski, 1st Vice President Mike McMichael, Past President Jasper Lakey, Life Member Harry Bright, Past Deputy Chief and DC Town Council Member Paul Johnson and Career Staff Luke Powell.
