Busy Morning - Station 15

Today at 08:21 station 15 was alerted for an engine cover assignment for Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Station 8. Engine 15-5 responded under command of Firefighter/EMT Bill Hart with a crew of 4. While enroute and due to the 2nd alarm assignment not being filled, Engine 15-5 was redirected to the fire scene at 32 Hobart Drive, Silver Run Apartments. While responding to the alarm, command reduced the assignment and requested for Engine 15-5 to now cover station 9. Engine 15-5 was back in quarters at 10:20 hours. At 08:48 station 15 was dispatched for a MVC at American Boulevard and Wrangle Hill at Peoples Industrial Park. B-15 and Rescue 15 under the command of Firefighter Jay Dennis responded with a crew of 3. Units arrived on scene with a multi vehicle accident. B-15 (EMT/Chief Rosseel) transported 2 patients to CER and a third refused treatment. Command placed the scene under control at 09:15 hours and turned the scene over to DSP. Station 15 was dispatched to assist Christiana with an appliance on fire inside the structure at 11:45 hours. Engine 15-5 under the command of Assistant Chief Wally Poppe responded with a crew of 6 but was returned after 6-7 placed the scene under control. During the morning alarms, 18 members responded.
