Insurance Commissioner Matt Denn's EMS Ride Along - Delaware City

Tonight Insurance Commissioner Matt Denn spent a few hours out of his busy schedule riding along on our EMS unit. 2nd Vice President Mike McMichael whom has set up other ride along throughout the State with other State Dignitaries once again set this up.
Commissioner Denn arrived around 15:30 hours and was greeted by EMS Supervisor John Atkinson, and Career Staff Sam Boots who went over the ambulance and equipment with him.
President Wally Poppe, 1st Vice President Craig Costango and 2nd Vice President McMichael provided a tour of the fire station.
Once the tour was completed at the fire station. EMS Supervisor Atkinson and VP McMichael took Commissioner Denn on a tour of our district in A-15.
They were able to make 2 EMS runs, which resulted in 5 y/o with asthma being transported to CER and a 77 y/o to the VA with seizure activity.
The Officers and Members of the Delaware City Fire Company thank Insurance Commissioner Denn for taking time out of his busy schedule to spend some time with us.
We also would like to thank 2nd VP McMichael for continuing this ride along program with our State dignitaries whom can get a better understanding of what the volunteers / career staff do day in and day out.
