Assist Christiana on 2 Alarm Townhouse Fire - 210 W. Beaver Court - Pheasant Lake Townhouses

At 15:32 hours station 15 was alerted to assist station 3,6,12 with an engine for a reported townhouse on fire. Engine 15-5 under the command of Ladder Captain (15 Captain 2) Mike Miklus responded with a crew of 5. During the response NCCPD arrived on scene reporting the structure fully involved. B-3 arrived on scene at 15:38 hours with heavy fire showing 2nd floor. A-12 arrived on scene at 15:39 hours with Deputy 6 (Roush) assuming command. At 15:43 hours command notified the Communications Center that there was 2 units fully involved advancing hand lines into both structures. Command had the crew of 15-5 serve as the RIT. At 15:45 hours Command ordered the Communications Center to alert all firefighters from the structures and requested a 2nd alarm. 15-7 responded as part of the 2nd alarm assignment with a crew of 6 under the command Safety Officer Jay Dennis. A-15 also was dispatched as two of the three Christiana's BLS units were committed to fire duty and the other was treating a patient with Medic 2C who was rescue from the 2nd floor of the structure. 155 arrived on scene at 15:46 and set up as the RIT and eventually placed ground ladders to the rear of both structures as well as the roof of the fire unit. 15-7 arrived at 15:51 hours was assigned to the fire unit for salvage and overhaul. Crew from 15-5 was placed in service in both exposures for salvage and overhaul. B-15 clearing CER was sent to the scene as ALS-21 requested a 2nd ALS unit (Medic 6C) and 2 additional BLS units. Command placed he scene under control at 16:16 hours. B-15 cleared the scene at 16:52, 15-7 at 17:05 and 15-5 and A-15 at 17:50 hours.
