Members from Delaware City, Wilmington Manor, Holloway Terrace and Millcreek Fire Departments helped welcome home members of the 153rd Military Police Unit of the Delaware National Guard. The Unit is based in Delaware City. Ladder 15 and Ladder 28 draped an American Flag to help welcome home the members. Delaware City's ambulance also was standing by. Welcoming home this unit took on a special meaning for the officers and members of Delaware City as we welcomed home one of our own members, Dave Veasey. The unit deployed in April 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. WELCOME HOME TO ALL OF THE HEROES OF THE 153RD!!!!
