Station 15 was alerted at 20:01 hours for an Engine and Ladder assist Stations 04/24 for a Residential Fire (69D5) at the old Huber’s Nursery at 2424 DuPont Parkway. Deputy 24 (McCanney) arrived on scene at 20:04 hours with smoke showing. At 20:05 hours Deputy 24 requested upgrade to a working alarm. At 20:05 hours Chief 24-8 (Lynch) arrived on scene advising 3 story vacant structure assuming Command. Engine 15-4 responded at 20:05 hours followed by 15-7 at 20:11 hours. 15-7 arrived at 20:14 hours and 15-4 at 20:16 hours. Crew from 15-4 assisted with fire suppression activities and 15-7 ladder pipe was placed into service. At 20:19 hours Command advised heavy fire throughout the house. Command placed the scene under control at 21:04 with units working. 15-4 cleared the scene at 22:13 hours with 15-7 clearing at 22:31 hours. During the incident B-15 was relocated to EMS cover station 4. A total of 12 members responded to the alarm. Units responding: 15-4, 15-7 and B-15
