MVC w/ Entrapment w/ Multiple Patients - (M29B4U) - Cox Neck Road / S. DuPont Highway

On Thursday, March 26, Station 15 was dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Crash at Cox Neck Road / S. DuPont Highway at 16:06 hours. A-15 responded at 16:06 hours followed by Rescue 15 under the command of Assistant Chief Miklus (15-8C) and B-15 at 16:09 hours. Additional calls received at the 911 Center were advising that a subject was trapped and Medic 6B was dispatched and responded at 16:09 hours. A-15 arrived on scene at 16:10 hours, Rescue 15 and B-15 at 16:13 hours with Assistant Chief Miklus assuming Cox Neck Road Command advising of a 3-vehicle mvc. At 16:15 hours Command requested additional BLS and Engine. A-29 was dispatched and responded at 16:18 hours and Engine 15-5 responded at 16:19 hours. A-15 and half of Medic 6B transported a trauma alert to CER at 16:24 hours followed by B-15 and the other half of Medic 6B transporting to CER with a pediatric trauma alert. Command placed the scene under control at 16:26 hours. A-29 arrived at 16:23 hours and ended up transporting an adult and pediatric to CER at 16:31 hours. A fifth patient started complaining of chest pains and B-6 and Medic 5B were dispatched and transported the patient to CER at 16:50 hours. Station 15 units cleared the scene at 17:04 hours turning the scene over to DSP. Responding Units: A-15, B-15, 15-5, Rescue 15, A-29, Medic 6B, Medic 5B, ALS-12, ALS-22, B-6, 15-9, 15-9C, 15-9D, DelDot and DSP. A total of 18 members responded.
