At the Annual DVFA Conference on Wednesday, September 14th, the DVFA Scholarship Committee presented the 1st Annual Michelle Smith Scholarship Award to our very own Jamie Watson. Accepting on Jamie's behalf was her parents, Jim and Deb Watson. On hand to assist President Wally Poppe and Ladies President Nancy Migliavacca was Michelle's daughter Emily Burge and her mother Joanne Newton. Both the Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary will contribute on an annual basis $500.00 each in the memory of our fallen sister. Congratulations to Jamie on her scholarship.
