At 23:16 hours, Stations 15 and 29, A-6, NCC EMS Medic 6A, Medic 5A, ALS15, ALS21 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Crash at Wrangle Hill Road and River Road.  15 Captain 3 [Merlino] was first on scene a reported vehcile was on fire with 2 subjects trapped inside.  15-8 [Chief Poppe] arrived and assumed Delaware City Command.  Crew from Rescue Engine 15 extinguished the fire and afer checking the vehicle crews veiwed what they thought was a car seat and utilized thermal imaging cameras and Trooper 4 to check the immidiate area but results were unfounded.

Crews from Rescue Engine 15 and 29-6 along with DELDOT stayed on scene to assist NCCPD with their investigation.
