On July 4, 2020 at 18:07 hours, Stations 15/29 were dispatched to a Heavy Smoke Investigation in the area of 1685 River Road.

Squad-15, Quint-15 and 29-6 made the response.  Squad-15 [Captain Johnson] arrived and advised it ws the debris pile from the previous Commerical Structure Fire on July 1, 2020.  Captain Johnson assumed Delaware City Command advising the Fireboard this would be an extended operation and requested an Engine Cover for Station 15.  Townsend Fire Company Squad-26 provided the cover assignment.

Crews were able to utilize some of the equipment in the yard to break apart the debri pile and the ladder pipe from Quint 15 was utilized to saturate the piles.  Command placed the scene under control at 20:15 hours and all units were clear by 20:31 hours.
