Congratulations are in order to two of Delaware City's firefighters who were recognized at the annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighter's Association Conference last week. Fire Police Officer Dennis Layton, Sr. was named Delaware State Fire Police Association's Delaware State Police New Castle County Fire Policeman of the Year.

 

Career Firefighter/EMT Quintin Boots received the Youth Leadership Award for his efforts at Leipsic Vol. Fire Company and at Delaware City Fire Company. Quint is a rising leader in this department and this is a well deserved recognition. Congratulations to both!
