At 04:44 hours, Station 15 and neighboring companies were dispatched for a Mobile Home/Trailer fire in the Delaware City Mobile Home Park. Assistant Chief Paul Johnson responded at 04:46 hours and arrived at 04:47 hours with fire showing assuming command. Command immediately requested an upgrade of the alarm. Crews from 15-7 and Rescue 15 started an interior attack but command requested an emergency evacuation sounded and crews went into a defensive mode. Command reported bulk of the fire knocked down at 05:03 hours and placing the scene under control at 05:14 hours. Units remained on scene until 06:30 hours when the scene was turned over to FM-15. There was no one home and there were no reported injuries. Responding units included: 15-8C, 15-7, Rescue 15, B-15, TSU-15, 29-4, 12-6, Rescue 24, Ladder 18, A-28, ALS-29, Medic 6C and FM-15. The mobile home received significant damage.
