Plane Crash in area of Fort Mott - 51D1S

At 10:46 hours, the NCC Fireobard recieved notificiation of a inbound Cessna that lost contact with the Tower at the NCC Airport.  At 10:52 hours additional information advised that the plane went down 5 miles southeast of the NCC Airport.  At this time the NCC Fireboard dispatched Marines units from Station 15, Good Will, Holloway Terrace, Wilmington Fire Department, Lower Alloway Creek, NJ and DSP Trooper 4 to search the Delaware River in the area of Fort Mott.

15 Marine 1 responded under the command of Assistant Chief Neel at 10:56 hours.  15 Marine 1 arrived on scene on the NJ side at 11:09 hours with Trooper 4.

Trooper 4 arrived on scene on the NJ side in the marsh area sout of the High Power Lines in the Delaware River with 2 souls outside the plane.  Trooper 4 was unable to land so both subjects were air lifted to Trooper 4 and transported to the NJ side where EMS unit from Pennsville assessed both subjects, who both refused treatment.
