Delaware Humane Society set up a mobile clinic in the Engine Bay of the Delaware City Fire Company on Sunday, March 9th. Many people with animals and children showed up to take advantage of the services of the Humane Society. Some members took advantage of this opportunity and set up a fire prevention table as well as offered the free smoke detectors as part of the Wake Up Delaware campaign. A total of 57 smoke detectors were given out that day because of this impromptu display.
