This morning, at 10:34, Rescue Boats 29, 15 and Salem 18 were alerted to a water rescue at the mouth of the C&D canal for a report from the USCG of 3 subjects trapped on the jetty. Special Ops. 15 & 15M1, B15, and A15 responded shortly after dispatch. A15 advised the subjects were fishing on the jetty and became trapped by the rising tide. 15M1 arrived on scene and removed the victims from the jetty. 15M1 transported the victims to the Delaware City Docks were they were evaluated by EMS. Shortly after returning to quarters, units were dispatched to an MVC on Rte. 13 at Red Lion Road. A15 and R15 responded in seconds. A15 arrived and transported one to Christiana, while R15 cleared debris from the roadway.
