At 17:33hrs New Castle County 911 Center received calls for a car fire on Route 1 northbound at Red Lion Creek. Station 15 was dispatched and Engine 15-5 made the response at 17:34 hrs with a crew of 6. Delaware State Police shut down two lanes of Route 1 northbound for about 45 minutes.
