19:35hrs, N.C.C Communications dispatched Station 15, Station 4/24(Odessa) and N.C.C Medic 6 to a Motor Vehicle Crash with entrapment on Route 1 Northbound south of Wrangle Hill Road. BLS A-15 and Rescue 15 responded 1 minute after dispatch and was advised by the 911 center of reports of several subjects trapped. BLS A-32(Wilm. Manor) was added along with ALS 26 requesting additional ALS. Rescue 15, A-15 and Chief 15-8-B(Neel) arrived on scene at 19:44hrs to find a 2 vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer. No one was found to be trapped and 15-8-B took the Route 1 command. Command reduced the assignment to the crew's on scene. BLS A-15 and Medic 6 transported 1 person to an area hospital. Units on scene: A-15, B-15, B-4, A-32, ALS 26, EMS-1, Medic 2, Medic 6, Rescue 15, Chief 15-8, Duty Chief 15-8-B, Rescue 24, Rescue/Engine 4-6, Zone 3 Fire Police, Del Dot and DSP. Route 1 Northbound was restricted to 1 lane for several hours.
